Man, talk about being thrown back into the RING 💍. This week has been a circus.

My calendar this week has proven that it’s officially wedding season. So many calls, zooms, walk thrus and consultations! I can’t wait to share all of the weddings we’re honored to be a part of this year. Happy Friday!

We are based in the DC area, and after going thru a long, cold Winter (we didn’t even get any any snow ❄️🤣, but I am a warm weather person), there is nothing like the sight of the Cherry Blossoms 🌸 and the first daffodils 🌼.

Spring means LIFE! (and one step closer to Summer! ☀️🌊🏖️) Let’s hear it for all the blush, pistachio, tangerine, daffodil yellow and Kelly greens headed our way this Spring wedding season.

In keeping with St. Patrick’s🍀 week…you’ve for sure heard of Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue 💙.

This wedding tradition inspires you to gather good luck 🍀 tokens inspired by friends, family, tradition and connection:

“Something old” usually represents the bride’s recognition of her family and past. This is when you wear something from your pre-married life.

“Something new” is bought for the bride and it represents her entering marriage with optimism and good luck.

“Something borrowed” is to carry on the good luck from another happily married couple. If you wear something on loan from them, the happy vibes just might rub off on you!

“Something blue” is said to represent purity — hence the tradition for brides to wear some or all this color. There are many ways to incorporate a blue hue into your bridal look. Consider blue shoes, blue nails or a stand out blue ring like Caitlin is rockin’ in this pic!

For most people, daylight savings time means losing an hour of sleep. To us, it means we have gained another hour of daylight to work with in your timeline.
